Shady Grove Glamour Shots and a Giveaway

Everyday is fun at Cathy Heck Studio, but days when we receive samples of our designs on real products are bushels of fun – especially when we are receiving fabric with fruits, and berries, and trees, and well – bushels!  Here is the full photo shoot of Shady Grove, our newest line under the CathyLoo™ brand for David Textiles.  It’s prefect for picnic, kitchen, kids, and summer.  We can’t wait to make an apron or three out of Shady Grove!

One of our favorite things about this collection is how bright and cheerful it is.  (We’re also pretty proud of how seamless the tossed fruit and birds patterns are.  Even though the designs are fairly small, they really can work well on the back of a quilt without your eye being able to pick out funky repeating waves or clumps of color.)

To celebrate the bright and blissful newness of Shady Grove, we are giving away one fat quarter bundle of the collection.  Please enter by leaving a comment on this blog telling us the project you might create from the group, and we’ll draw a winner at noon CST on Wednesday, July 18. Good luck!

Oh Cathy, this fabric is great! I would make a cute patchwork skirt with the fabric, or maybe line my bread baskets for a summer picnic!

These prints would make a great set of napkins, although I’d feel bad getting them dirty.

These prints are so fun and the colors are great! They remind me of board games I used to play as a kid. I think I’d use them to make cute little girl dresses for my new little niece.

Love the bright citrus-y colors! Especially liking all the yellow.
