We are often asked where we find our inspiration. Well, today, I received this excellent bit of color candy from Julianna, the other half of the Mej Mej team, who is in Copenhagen visiting her new family and taking in the beautiful Danish design.
So, I decided to be inspired on the spot, post haste. Color, line, detail, pattern … and then I threw in a dash of scandinavian folk art just because.
And, here is my inspiration soup. Good morning Copenhagen, Denmark from Austin, Texas. I have a feeling that some Danish influence might find its way into some of our newest nursery collections in the new year.
In the meantime, du må hilse dem! (I think that means “Enjoy yourself.” But I don’t really know … it might say that your grandmother is a dog, and if that is so, my apologies.
