It’s that time of year when it’s fun to curl up with a book … no matter how old you are. Now that we have a new studio baby in the family, one of our favorite times of day is dusk. Clean baby. Tummy full. Snuggling up with a book before bedtime.
Our new Woodland collection is like stepping into a storybook … you can surround your little ones with forest friends all dressed up to tickle new imaginations. And with our excellent fabric wall decals, the story looks as though it’s been painted right on your wall … except that this little forest can be moved again and again!
Julianna is the hand behind this wonderland. Julianna’s husband is from Denmark, and each time Jules visits family, she is inspired all over again. The combination of clean Scandinavian design and beautiful countryside is an artist’s dream come true.
There are lots of nods to her Danish visits in this collection, from the fresh clean color palette to the whimsical modern mushrooms. (Chanterelle hunting is a must in nearby Sweden, although they don’t come in these cute colors.)
The colors were inspired by our wonderful followers. “Please more gray.” Gray is the non-color that blends softly and beautifully with all kinds of nurseries. And we added the on-trend pops of color that work for girls, boys, teens and betweens.
And what better way to celebrate grays than tall slender aspen trees. And, if you look carefully, you will see that there are some woodland creatures that have set up housekeeping high up in the branches. Won’t it be fun to fall asleep wondering about the little friends who live among the leaves?
And, we are in love with the way the designs turned out for our soft, embroidered, organic cotton One-for-Onezees™. Perfect for holiday jammies, or snuggling any time of year. And, even more special, for every onezee purchased, a new organic cotton onezee is given to a child in need through the wonderful nurses at Any Baby Can.
So happy First Friday of November … and as you watch the leaves change in your neck of the woods, we hope you enjoy watching our little woodland wonderland grow.
